How long will Fox last?

Wade Phillips is gone. JJ apologized for the product on the field. How long until Fox is unplugged? If we go 1-10 will he still be here? And how long until JR comes out and publicly apologizes?

Discuss.

till the end of the season. It won't help anything to cut him, still pay him and someone else....we did that with Delhomme and we're all watching out thats turning out

16 games. Dallas was trying to win a Superbowl.

Richardson knew we wouldn't compete and was fine with Fox being here this last year. Nothing has changed

This... the only way I could see Fox getting fired is if he continues to escalate comments like "ask the personnel department", etc.

There's no way Fox will be booted while still under contract. Furthermore, JR isn't bringing in a new head coach at this time that he might very well have to pay through next year when there may very well be no football.

Thinking otherwise would be foolish. Sports is one thing, but pro football is a business.

He last till the end of the year, unless things could actually get worse. Fox might go up and moon him; in an attempt to be let off the Titantic. Otherwise, its not in JR's nature. Plus after handing Fox a losing hand with budget cuts, plus losing his top three RB's, starting QB, and the other problems; JR would make Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder look like a good owner firing him early.

Until the end of the year. JR would not buy out his contract before the year, he is not gonna do it now.

I agree with you. Fox's contract is why he's here. That's it. He doesn't deserve to be. This isn't the team and QB he brought in, so he shouldn't be the coach coaching "this" team.

I wish the team would fire him though and let Meeks coach. I just feel that whoever we hire from the outside is going to replace Meeks. So, why not let Meeks coach and see what he can do? If he sucks, at least we tried. If he's good, we could have a possible head coach next year.

I just feel the d is playing well. He deserves a chance to be tested at head coach.
