THE TIME TO WIN IT ALL WAS NOW! Window of opportunity is closing....

How did Smitty do without Jake in 2007?

Also Jake had 29tds in 2004 with Smitty out the whole season.

He did fine in 2007, 1002 yards and 7 TDs.

But that whole idea is stupid to begin with, how would Fitzgerald do with Leinart at QB?

How did TO do with Brad Johnson in at QB?

How did Randy Moss do with those w/e shitty QB's he had in Oakland?

Yea you're just not very smart, it's ok, we are getting accustomed to it.

This year was the time to make a push and win it all.... I firmly believe that our window of opportunity is slowly closing and will need an offensive overhaul within the next two seasons

-Jake Delhomme- 34 years old, has at best two seasons left in him as a starter and that is stretching it

-Steve Smith- 30 years old, dangerous WR predicated on speed, has 2-3 top tier seasons left in him before his skills will diminish

-Muhsin Muhammad- 35 years old, a possession WR who has 2 seasons tops in him

can you doom and gloom'ers STFU already

Hey dumbass, do you realize that 271 of those yards and 4 of those touchdowns came in the 2 full games Delhomme played?

You do realize we went through 4 QBs?

How many other WR's could say they would put up those numbers with 4 different QBs?

Smith bails out Jake plain and simple.

The #1 QB no matter how bad he is, is going to have a connection with the #1 WR, and try to get him the ball. That is just common sense, the problem is the manner in which he gets him the ball.(which is totally inaccurate and never hits him in stride)

Jake doesn't have the skills to use Smith properly, neither do our crappy back ups. Just because our back ups are worse than Jake doesn't mean Jake is good.

You're terrible at these things man, you need some practice, you're the same guy that tried to argue about a radio show you never listen to.

I can't take you seriously.

Edit: oh yea I am sure you can tell me how 2 of those TD's happened which had nothing to do with Jake or Jake being close to good.

Vs Houston Smith broke like 8 tackles after he was ganged and slipped away for a TD in garbage time.(yea Jakes greatness played a HUGE part in that)

Also the other one Jake threw a terrible pass that was almost intercepted, and was tipped high into the air, but Smith followed it and caught it behind the defender.(im sure they ran it that way in practice)

So really his stats from Jake that year, really just prove my point, and doesn't help you out very much.

Thanks for playing though, you've been a good sport.

Who bailed Jake out in the first 2 games without Smitty when Jake had game winning drives in the 4th quarter of both games?

So Jake just flips on the poo switch when his best WR is in the game?

Jake is so good he can win every game with out Smith, but when Smith is in the game he HAS to throw it to him in triple coverage?

If he can get it done with out Smith then why does he throw it to him in absurd moments? Is Smith threatening to kick his ass?

You really are only fueling my argument here with these. A good QB can spread the ball around at all times, not just when his star is out of the line up.

you must come from the Fox school of thought.... we were 12-4.... the sun will rise tomorrow.... we will be 7-9 next year..... the sun will rise next year.... john fox will still be clapping away and chewing that gum right out of Charlotte

I come from the group that remembers what it was like to be 1-15 and thanks god at the end of every season that I haven't had to watch that again.

IMO too many people like you forget what 1-15 was like and are all too eager to run the person that got us out of that hell hole out of town even at the end of what was pretty good season.

Now the playoff game sucked out loud but I was over it 48 hours later, with you it seems to be a life altering event that your never going to get over, I'm glade I'm not you.
