Same ol' Peppers

I thought that was a top 3 Left Tackle and Thigpen would start on most NFL teams...

So what you're really saying is you miss the fug out of him and miss being relevant.

was Jake Long playing yesterday? I thought I read that he wasn't(could be wrong, not sure.)

it's classic Peppers to show up better during a prime time game, can't deny that. also can't deny he's a huge reason the Bears have the insane defense they have now.

Thigpen???? For real though man, Did you see the Dolphins game last year? Jake Long OWNED him. He didn't even SNIFF Chad Henne. and we could have used him in that game. Everyone knew before the game that the Dolphins Oline wasn't healthy. Peppers is great, fantastic, everything, all of that. But you can't tell me he didn't take advantage of a hobbled oline. If not, are you admitting that he packed it in last year?

Just like Peppers, nothing for seven weeks then playing in a big game shows up and America thinks he is the chosen one again.....he is grossly overpaid Dimbee, he is great but he is not the best defensive player in the league...not even close.

Spoken like someone who apparently hasn't watched a single Bears game and has only watched a box score.

It's ok, Sally. I don't recall saying he was the best defensive player in the league.

BTW, congrats on having so many underpaid players. The results speak for themselves

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
