Anyone use a VoIP phone service , like Vontage, etc?

I had Magic Jack. Other than having to unplug it every day and let it reboot. (Not that big of deal.) And getting some irate phone calls from some Black Lady every month about her son always borrowing her car, it was pretty good.

When I had to change computers from Windows XP to Windows 7, it wouldn't work. Even though they (MJ) said it would. They said it was probably my phone. In all honesty, I didn't try another phone. (The same spike that Duke Energy shot through the lines and fried my computer, could have fried my phone.)

Now, I use my cell for everything.

lulz...that would make for some fun times when bored.

She would call every 15 minutes.

The first month it happened it was funny. The second time it was ammusing. The third time it grew old. I always seemed to happen when she needed to go cash her Social Security check.

The times I picked the phone up and tried to explain that the number she was calling wasn't her son's cell, she kept right on yelling!

better than having the cops show up randomly at your house at all hours saying someone had dialed 911. happened at least 5 times. last time, got rid of the land line.

I'd use string and tin cans before I EVER go back to Bell South!

I stongly considerred going postal on BS! The only thing that kept me from doing it was that I knew they wouldn't let me have my Corvette in prison!:driving:

Used Vonage for a little while and hated it.

Have some friends that use Majic Jack. Its cheap, but they do have some problems. Get what you pay for I guess.

What did you hate about Vontage? ( Just wondering what to look for). I know someone's whose sister uses Majic Jack...'my friend hates it...says not reliable.

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
