Weird Facebook Invitations

I got a fb invitation to someones funeral last week. Isn't that a bit much?

The morbid status updates are pretty bad, but now this?

Funerals? I just don't think that's appropriate for facebook. But hey, facebook is pretty much a universal social network sounding board for everything, so I guess even somber moments can be public.

I was in high school and this girl had her facebook invaded by one of her friends and they posted an event under her name called "Sophie's getting her clit pierced!"

She was pissed - but it was in the days before parents were on facebook. She apparently had friends messaging her saying how concerned they were for her...etc. Probably garnered some unwanted attention.

This situation is really sad too because it was boy & girl twins who were born prematurely a few months ago. They weren't born really premature just a couple of months early. They really didn't think there was anything to be concerned about then they both died within a day of one another. The mother keeps posting status updates about it.

Some people mourn in strange ways, but hey, whatever helps her get through it and let it out...

yes...one important thing is you want to make sure there are enough women involved when making sammiches for a big group of men...you don't want just one or two women or they'll get far too tired.
