Vick leads all players in probowl voting

The league revealed today that Vick has 729,838 fan votes for the Pro Bowl, which puts him in first place among all players in the entire league.

Vick has surged ahead of Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, who was in first place among all players but has now fallen into second, 38,692 votes behind Vick.

The NFL selects Pro Bowl rosters through a combination of voting from fans, players and coaches. Pro Bowlers will be announced later this month

Who is not mentioning him as an MVP candidate?

I haven't heard any talk of him as MVP. And Darin Gantt apparently was getting in a Twitter-argument deal with some guy who said DG didn't consider Vick among the MVP candidates.

And even on like Mike and Mike, I've never heard them mention him as one as we've gotten deeper into the season which is weird because he's gotten better. But, they have mentioned the Eagles are legit... But, when it comes to MVP talk they are all immediately going to Brady, Rivers, and they were talking about Peyton until the last 2 weeks or so.

It seems like he's getting pub for being a great QB now and still obviously a difference maker, but like he's being ignored for MVP. I could be wrong though, if you've heard any talk of it let me know...

If Vick had no interceptions, he would have been hands down the NFL MVP. Now Vick has to battle it out with Brady and maybe even Matt Ryan. I think Vick is still the favorite of the award, and will most likely win the comeback player award as well. Another one for the record books.

Well Darin Gantt was probably too busy submitting write-in votes for Armanti Edwards at every Pro Bowl Position...so I wouldn't consider his stance as being with the times. But here's some reading for you to prove the talk exists.

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
