The NFC South, sans Panthers of course, is shaping up to be a heck of a conference this year.

ATL - 11-2 Remaining Sea, NO, Car. 13-3 or 14-2

NO - 10-3 Remaining Balt, Atl, Tam 10-6 through 13-3

TB - 8-5 Remaining Det, Sea, NO 9-7 through 11-5

NO has by far the toughest remaining three, but they have a couple of wins in hand. TB has two very winnable games, they will likely end up 10-6. ATL has two throw away wins. If NO wins out, and ATL and TB win their non-NO games, they will end up:

ATL - 13-3

NO - 13-3

TB - 10-6

The other two wild card candidates have much tougher schedules remaining.

NYG (8-4) - Min, Phi, GB and Was

GB (8-5) - NE, Chi, and NYG - likely at least one loss

Is there a rule against both WC teams coming from the same conference? If NYG and GB each take two more losses, it's not a stretch that NO and TB will have the two best non-div champ records. Heck, they could end up:

ATL 13-3

NO 12-4

TB 11-5

No rule against it. It could be 3 teams from the south in the playoffs.

That would be nice, maybe our division would start getting national recognition
