The most beautful. talented, angelic woman in all of creation...

Mr. Scot

Mr. Scott sticks with something. He's been obsessing with her since I first lurked on the huddle, five years ago.

Yes, my longstanding crush on her is documented

I have a love of Celtic music. Plus I'm attracted to women of Celtic origin, intelligent women and women with any sort of artistic talent. Máiréad has all of that, plus being fairly close to my age and being a tiny thing (just over five feet tall).

Truth be told, I'd probably be happy to serve as a slave to the entire cast of Celtic Woman (think they have a US tour this year so maybe I'll get to see them live) but Máiréad is the best of the group. She's absolutely dazzling when she's on stage.

For the record, I don't generally go nuts over famous women. There's no actress, singer, athlete or other female celebrity that can make me sound like a teenager.

Never heard of this chick Mr Scot, but she's got the goods for sure.

Neither had I till I saw a commercial for one of their albums a few years ago. Bought a DVD, and after that I was hooked.

I mean, how could any man resist that face, those eyes, that smile?

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game around when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
