Looking at the important dates coming up:

Senior Bowl- January 29th

Combine- Feb 23- March 1

Once the season completes, I really hope they don't take their time on the search and atleast have a coach in place by the Senior Bowl so they can start evaluating talent. I know the scouting department and Marty Hurney are part of the process but it really is going to depend on what the new coach installs.

Even the coaches without a job go to the Senior Bowl

They still evaluate the talent while there

They go there to get a job...it's the world's largest coach emporium

It's actually very entertaining to go into some of the hotel lobbies and see all of the coaches trying to get jobs and the GM's trying to avoid them

I've been three times...not to get a job though

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
