Trade the #1 pick

Just a thought. If Luck does come out and San Fran offers a big package (not that kind of package). Would you trade down? IDK. If they were to say give us there 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th this year and 1st and 3rd next year and Alex Smith I would think about it. I dont think I would do it but I would at least give it some though. Wat would it take for you to consider it? I was just intersted to know.

Any chance we could trade the pick to Cleveland for their 1st (6th overall) and 2nd this year + 2012 first?

They could get A.J. Green as the WR for McCoy, and we could then pick from who ever is left of Fairley, Peterson, Amukamara, Bowers or Dareus.

Seems our needs line up better with the 4-7 range in the 1st round, so why not try and take advantage of it?

Even though we may reach at 1 overall no matter who we draft, they are still going to make a huge difference on this team. period. That guy will have a strong possibility to be a stud whether it be Fairly, Green, Peterson, Newton, Prince, & etc.

We have top choosing of whoever we want and who we think will fit this team. I'm sticking with #1 unless there's some really good deal that we can muster with a pick still in the top-6 overall

New CBA and rookie salary cap will have a lot to do with it. Granted, it might not be in place by the draft.

Most likely, a 2nd this year and 2nd next.

However, if we drop to 14 and let the Rams move up for AJ Green, we can get their 1st next year and 2nd this year.
