Get ready for $4.00 a gallon gas!!!!

Not out of some weird sense of nationalistic pride or anything but I truly believe its going to take the American consumer demanding alternatives to gasoline before there will be a legitimate effort on the part of industry to replace it.

I have a real hard time believing that electric vehicles are harder than putting a man on the moon, or splitting atoms, or decoding DNA.

I dont think there's any legitimate effort happening as long as everyone's entertained and the networks are still showing life-sucking tv shows. Apparently, no one cares

I sold my truck and got a more fuel efficient car (30-32 mpg). I really miss my truck sometimes, but as you said, I knew better than to consider getting a truck again. So, yeah, 4cyls rock baby.

I put $75 in my truck every 4 days, such a waste of energy

SUV sales up 41% in the months of Nov and Dec....The Volt sold 250 country wide...

If they didnt look so stupid and dangerous they might have something, I look at a smart car on the highway and i feel like i could run over it if I'm not careful

If the Prius wasn't so damn ugly, maybe more people would buy it.

BTW, we have had the capability for decades to produce fuel from trash and other organic materials. But (conspiracy theory coming) the government won't make billions of dollars off of that. They want us to be dependent on oil.

People bash GM alot (I do, I drive a GM) but they are on the right path with the Volt. To make it an even better idea put in a diesel engine and use biofuel.

Conspiracy theory retort incoming

Gubmint my ass. If BP thought they could sell bio-diesel to John Q Public then they would find a way to put in in the local station. The problem is that people who run bio-diesel are put in the same category with the ultra-milers and labeled wackos.

The government didn't drive anyone down to the local Ford dealership to buy a new F350 to drive to their office daily.

This is all OUR fault.

Hey, a lot of those gubminters are also oil investors. Still not convinced?

Oh is that a conspiracy theory? I thought that was common knowledge

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
