any more Luck/Harbaugh skeptics?

So might Brady, Manning or Brees.

Doesn't mean you don't take them when you have the chance.

You mean gamble...and it all depends. You can not convince me that there is a such thing as a sure fire bet. The way I look at it, Luck will fall into one of four categories, a) the unforeseen flop B) pretty good-decent starter, but better suited back-up c) consistant starter d) perinnial pro-bowler/Super Bowl MVP

Now, as odds have it, he'll neither be 'a' nor 'd' so he'll most likely be somwhere in the middle. Considering the needs we have, I'd much rather go with a "League" guy than another rookie and accumulate more picks.

I hope I'm wrong about this, but #1 overall burdens a program if they don't pan out (option 'd') with cap and leadership implications.

I'm wanting the safe route,--it's the unpopular stance, but the one I'm taking.

So, basically you are saying that you don't have the balls to go all in.....got it.

To everyone that wants a "vet" QB to lead this team. Who doesn't want a QB to call your own. Farve is a Packer Manning is a Colt Mcnabb is a Eagle and Warner is a Ram Montana is Niner, these players are not just in their franchise history but in NFL history. We have a chance to make history here to further the franchise why would you want to hinder that!?!? We have a golden chance to have someone thats our own, a face of the franchise. I want Luck with the first pick if he's there.

Don't understand the asinine fans that try to make reason for why we should'nt draft Luck and hire Harbaugh. It's like they want us to continue being mediocre or are just too pessimistic in life.

Your assumption is that Luck wouldn't pull a Eli Manning.

If Harbaugh doesn't end up in Carolina, it is certainly possible that Luck will demand a trade.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Sitting at a computer armchair QB-ing a multi-million dollar frachise is ballsy when you reap no ramifications other than bellyaching as a fan if you're wrong?

Wow those are brass balls!!!!
