any more Luck/Harbaugh skeptics?

Re-sign core players, aggresively hit free agency and use the extra picks to fill the gaps.

You do realize QB is the most glaring hole on the team right? Even with subpar DTs our defense did a damn good job given the circumstances. Qb is the hardest position to fill in free agency because most teams aren't dumb enough to give up good ones.

Exactly what positions do you take that could make up for passing on a franchise quarterback?

To put it another way, what do you think you'd have to trade New Orleans, Indy or New England that'd be valuable enough for them to part with their respective QBs?

Why would Harbaugh really go to Michigan? Because ESPN keeps saying it? He is the hot property now! Lets say he goes to Michigan, rebuilds that crap program. 3-4 years just leave and come to the NFL then? That is silly. Now is his time. Harbuagh is coming to the NFL this year. The question is: Who is going to pay him?

Tonight's game he looked like he had some questionable decision making under pressure, forced it a few times.

Also he looked like he's not used to pressure.

I'll be skeptical of him until he starts playing the NFL.

He does look very good though. I got no problem drafting him. But once he's in the NFL I expect him to look like a rookie. If he doesn't then all the better.

That was my read too. At the start of the game things didn't really go his way and he definitely struggled, throwing some ill-advised passes. In the 2nd half, the play calling got a lot better, taking advantages of mismatches and he benefited from it. How much of it was Luck and how much of it was Harbaugh? I really don't know. One thing's for sure though, he doesn't scream '1st overall pick' like everyone is claiming.

Well I'll actually consider it if we still pick up a later 1st round QB as well as get rid of Hurney for losing our picks in the 1st place.

Oh? He definetely looked like a 1st overall pick to me. Made some truly exceptional throws in the second half.

At the start, he struggled, but I think there's tremendous upside in him.

Yep cant see him going to Michigan. NFL is his prize and will be going to a NFL team. Michigan is in disarray and will take more than 4 years to fix.

Seriously? :skep:

Well yeah. I'm not saying that he sucked, not by a long shot, so I don't know why you guys seem so surprised. I just thought he achieved a lot due to his environment. Would I be happy if we got Luck right now, yeah I would, but do I think he's the no brainer everyone seems to think he is? No, I do not.
