John Fox not a lock to get a HC gig??

If Fox ends up at Michigan I think I'm going to cry.

Very very unlikely. I was thinking he would be a good fit in Michigan while the AD was speaking today. But Fox hasnt been in the college ranks in a long time and doesnt have the recruiting network anymore. Plus do you really think Fox wants to do all that recruiting during the year?

He prob will take this year off. Come back next year as someones coach. I would expect him to want to be payed in the ballpark of 4 or 5 million. He has wanted a raise some time here in Carolina and I figure he will not work for anything less.

sorry you're still in love with Fox

I don't love any head coaches. That doesn't change the fact that you went out and found a bunch of meaningless data without consideration of other factors and no one cared. You then put it in it's own thread and still no one cared. You then put it in this thread and it's f*cking annoying.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR STUPID DATA!

The facts are the facts. Sorry that they hurt you. Not like I made it up. I posted it here because it supports why Fox will not be as hot of a commodity for a HC job as others believe. You are stupid for thinking other organizations are going to make excuses for why Fox sucks. Even if they do for this year, they are going to look at his crapfest during the Arizona playoff game and 2009 year. But go ahead and keep telling yourself "It was JR who screwed Fox!". Everything works out the best for you when in denial.

I wouldn't expect someone like you to understand statistics at all or what GMs/Owners might look for in terms of a HC so I'll just say good talk.

And I certainly wouldn't mistake you for someone that knows what the latest hiring trends for Head Coaches are.

    • The Athletic posted their goalie rankings for the season... The description of the tiers are as follows... Where would you rank Freddie and Pyotr? And don't cheat and look up the article. I'll post their ranks and the link in a bit.
    • Refs will be in their pocket. Always have to account for that. They are 20th in rush defense. They currently have the worst pass defense in the league. I mean I want to say even Bryce could at least put up 250 or more passing yards given that but man he looked BAD when the pocket collapsed against Miami and they had the 20th pass defense. Just can't expect to consistently get clean pockets like that in this league even with the better OL's. I'd say with this being a home game hopefully our guys will be motivated regardless. We certainly seem to play much better at home. We'll see.
    • They'd never do it, because it really would be insane to do, but if I'm the Commanders, I'd seriously consider trading Daniels after this season, especially as he'd get a HUGE return for him. He's RG3 part 2, with his body type and style of game, I just can't see how he holds up long term, he's going to end up having a seriously injury prone career. It would take some massive balls (or pure insanity) to pull the trigger on trading him, but I do think 5 years from now it would be looked back upon as a smart trade.
