Good research, but I was mainly referring to the comment about time on the field.

We were 30th in the ToP ratio, as that chart stated.

That builds up and has a tremendous impact on the performance of the defense,especially when the opposing offense spends the entire 2nd half running out the clock..

5 minutes is one series maybe. Hardly takes a good defense to a bad one. and when you are giving up first downs at one of the worst rates in the league that keeps the opposing offense on the field.

I'm fine with drafting Fairley. That would make our entire defense soo much better.

I think we should go defense as well. The only offense pick that I'd be fine with at #1 is Green, but even then I'd rather get a guy like Patrick Peterson or a d-linemen.

As long as we don't reach on a quarterback(every single quarterback not named Luck is a HUGE reach at #1) I'll be fine with this draft.

The middle of our line is bad and somewhat the fault of Meeks system. Small guys get ran over. I think 2 big men like John Henderson(oak) or Gabe Watson(AZ) could change a lot of our problems. We could even make a push for Ngata if he is a FA and that would change our whole D.

Doubtful. He is still a 1 gap DT no matter how you cut it. He would need another FA NT to make an impact.
