AJ Green or Nick Fairley

By the way jarret had 18 more tds in college and 600 more yards.

so you have to score more TDs in college than Jarrett or you'll never make it in the NFL...

so glad our fans know what they are talking about... I'd be lost in this crazy football world..

Sounds like you will not accept my points no matter how valid. Our needs are QB, DT , OL, TE then maybe WR

what point is valid?

that you expect a DT to have an immediate impact over night when it typically takes DT's 2-3 years to catch up to the NFL level..

say something accurate, and then I'll consider it.. ;)

Compare the offense he played in against the offense Green played in. I'm fairly certain every starter on that USC offense was drafted (including backups like Cassel, who are starting in the NFL), while the rest of Georgia's offense is unlikely to produce 2-3 NFL players. Fairley, like Jarrett, benefited from a stacked team.

You have to evaluate the player aside from simply the stats. Though averaging 100 yards and a TD per game against the SEC is pretty impressive.

Just saying WR sometimes can be a gamble. big body penetrating DTs are much more of a sure thing.

William Joseph was amazing at penetrating through the line to get to the QB. He was considered a can't miss prospect due to his athleticism and closing speed. The success to bust ratio with Dlineman is no better than that of receivers...
