John Fox press conference

Fox couldn't develop a quarterback that could take over for Jake. It's not like he didn't have any options, he just couldn't, or more than likely, didn't want to find someone to start in front of Jake.

We all saw 2 years ago when Jake shat the bed for 11 straight weeks that Fox refused to bench Jake in favor for something else. It took an "injury" for Moore to even get a chance.

could'nt agree more!!!!!i would get so f**k mad at fox for leaving jake in many games, were jake would through several interceptions, get sack or screw plays up.An never pull him out and give another qb a chance,to win us the game.better hc and good qb coach could to wonders for the panther players.

did you not watch goodson this year?

Most of the people that populate this board now get all of thier political news from Mike and Mike and all of thier sports news from Sports Nation.

"Do you think that Jim Harbough is the actual coming of Christ that the Jewish religion is still waiting for or that Harbough is just another off-spring of God, only better than Jesus?"

"57% say real son of God"

"What do you think of that Michelle?"

Exactly

Fox had so much to pick from.

He is looking at Orton and The Golden Calf of Bristol thinking he has won the lottery.

Jerry Richardson and Marty Hurney

To think Fox, the HC of the team that was in good standing with the FO for 7 to 8 years out of 9, had no say in who was drafted or brought in as FA is very short sighted. Just another excuse to cover for Foxy. He may not of had final say but he had a say.

I've addressed it many times

Addressed like Fox ducking a question then yes, yes you addressed it.

Fox and his staff were good at developing 4 areas of the team, RB, OL, DL, and LB. Him and his staff failed with high draft pick WR's. Treated TE as nothing more then another OL position and QB's as a stop gap between the center and the RB.

To think the failure of all those QB's listed were solely because they sucked is absurd. Fox and his staff failed just as much as they did when it comes to preparing them.

    • Yep, like I said, I don't mind guaranteeing them money, but make the contracts smaller amounts in order to minimize cap implications. I don't know about "half," the actual amounts, whether more or less than half, would have to be determined by the NFL and NFLPA (which will probably be highly contentious, if not "impossible").  I'm just for whatever leads to the best product on the field while also unaffecting my wallet. As an aside, the NFL owners are greedy bastards in my estimation. They're trying to keep a larger portion of the pie, but players' agents are greedy as well, and they've sewn seeds of greed among the players. It's not all their fault; we all know what our society has evolved into, but the NFL wants a bigger piece of our smaller pocketbooks and refuses to "negotiate" with us (that's why we don't have cheaper and more reasonable à la carte options to view games that they're gradually trying to migrate to paid TV), so fu<k 'em. And then on top of that we have guys trying to water down the product even more by feeding greed. Change the way things are done so that we can at least see players prove themselves on the field without throwing wrenches into the engine that pays guys that have proven they can play on a pro level.
