Official Panthers Coaching Staff Thread

Posted elsewhere: I find it interesting that we're getting more assistant position coaches this year than were used before.

We've got the money since it's not tied up in the head coach. Question: is there a cap on the number of members a NFL coaching staff can have?

With all these new assistant position coaches, that thought just came to me.

The names of five Raiders assistants were removed from the team’s web site today, presumably meaning none of them will be back. Those five are linebackers coach Mike Haluchak, passing game coordinator Ted Tollner, quarterbacks coach Paul Hackett, offensive line coach Jim Michalczik and assistant offensive line coach Chris Morgan.

Hackett has experience coaching receivers and TEs (as mentioned by Mr. Scot several times). He no spring chicken though

I'd have been much more interested in him as a QB Coach though, and that spot's taken.

Names that still interest me from there: Haluchak, maybe Tollner as he has a little more WR coach experience than Hackett, but I'd probably rather have Jerry Sullivan than either of them.

Haluchak was the LB Coach for two years with the Browns when Chudzinski was there (2007-2008). Worked with Fox in New York too.

His resume' says he coached at Cal in 1981, so he may have been Ron Rivera's college position coach, but I need to clarify which campus.
