A team can always take a "pass". They don't lose their pick, its just the next team is on the clock and so forth and so on. The Panthers can jump in at anytime in the draft and pick any available player. The Vikings did this a few years ago. (Kevin Williams)

No one in this draft class deserves #1, no team will trade with us, and JR won't pay someone 50-60 million.

That's it. Panthers will simply bypass their selection this year.

Now we can all stop bitching about if they will trade or select someone.

It's been done. The Vikings screwed up their pick before not getting their selection to the podium in time. You just move to the next slot down. Instead of 1st we'd be second etc...
