I love my chiropractor. I only go when I'm having real problems, though of course, he'd like me to go on a regular basis. Been going over the past 3 weeks to him and the massage therapist for a major shoulder/neck problem. It's just about worked out, thank goodness.

I play football with friends on the weekends and feels like I need my hip popped.. I think it's a hip flexor though..

My spine is a god's gift to chiropractors.... I go every now and then for an adjustment. I feel good after getting adjusted, but with my spinal issues I'm back to square 1 the next day. So, it's a very temporary bandaid that I only resort to when I'm in the most acute pain.

But I have nothing but good things to say about my chiro. He's really, really good.

If anyone needs a recommendation, go to Randolph Chiropractic and ask for Dr. Firzak. He's awesome.

The ones who say they can cure your allergies/thyroid disease/heart condition/dandruff/bad breath/mother-in-law problems via adjustments are quacks.

The ones who say they can help you with back and neck pain, posture, flexibility, etc. are not.

I get what you're saying, buy proper spinal alignment has a major influence on multiple systems. Mine also does reflexology, acupuncture and other things.

Not saying there aren't shady ones out there, but I know quite a few that can provide a wide array of services....with no drugs.

you ever try a massage therapist? my dad had back surgery and eventually went to one. his muscles kept pulling his back out of alignment so this was the only thing that was successful.

I also love the massage therapists. Another good thing about Randolph Chiropractic is they have a licensed massage therapist who's truly trained in massage therapy/pressure points/etc.

I love getting a massage, but unfortunately it is the exact same kind of bandaid for me- next day, back to usual

I'm surpirsed nobody mentioned anything about him pressing his hot bag against your back though!

I am a Chiropractor and my father is a Chiropractor. I have never once had or put my scrotum against someones back during an adjustment.

I think your chiro must REALLY like you...

The legal drug industry is rife with quackery as well.

Doctors get away with a lot ($500 baby helmets, anyone?), but the simple fact is they have more invested (time and money wise); therefore, they have much more to lose which keeps them a little more honest.

I dont know why people give them poo all the time, I had to lay on a table with a hot bag pressed under my back and electric watts going into my neck and back and man did it feel good. The best part was the massage with icy/hot stuff and man I felt like a million bucks when I left...

My lawyer sent me to see him, glad I did.

The best part is I get to go back on Friday!!

not many "doctors" can heal this old dawg, but the ones that can.... i go back and get helped.
