Super Bowl XLV

Packers. I was on their wagon in the early 90s before the panthers came to be, and have no problem jumping back on it for a game. I also live in a city infested by transplant steelers, and would love to see them cry instead of holding up an additional finger every time we talk football.

The Steelers are stacked with guys that have star power. Just to name a few, on defense you got.........

DE Aaron Smith (If he can go), good player

DT Casey Hampton, dominant run stopper

LB Lamar Woodley, star

LB James Harrison, star

LB James Farrior, old star

LB Lawrence Timmons, young star

DB Ike Taylor, good corner

DB Troy Polamalu, best safety in the league (Even at 85%)

DB Ryan Clark, dependable safety

On offense..............

QB Ben Roethlisberger, one of the top qbs in the league

RB Rashard Mendenhall, up and coming runner

WR Hines Ward, old star

WR Mike Wallace, good wr with great speed

TE Heath Miller, good TE

Greenbay has a great defense, but they will struggle to stop the Steelers offense. The Packers offense starts and ends with Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers is going to once again retain their name as Blitzburgh, and will cause him trouble all day. This will be the first superbowl for most of the Packers players, and might succumb to the pressure early on in the game. That is where the Steelers will take the advantage. I say the Steelers win in a blowout 28-10. Mark it down someone!:D

Hmmm

Packers Defense:

Cullen Jenkins - Kris Jenkins 2.0 (in his good days)

B.J Raji - Great run stuffer

Clay Matthews - Best 3-4 linebacker in the league

Charles Woodson - One of the best CB's in the league

Tramon Williams - Emerging star

Nick Collins - Pro Bowl Safety

Packers Offense:

Aaron Rodgers - ..Need I say more?

O-Line - pretty darn good

Greg Jennings - Star

Donald Driver - Reliable Vet

James Jones - Young star

Jordy Nelson - Great Hands

comparing this weekend's games to what we will see in two weeks is pointless. the conditions affect the game! the game in dallas will be nothing like the below freezing temps of chicago and pittsburgh. it will be closer to what happened in ATL.

that does benefit both teams, but I think more so for the pack.

    • It really is insane how they always try to rig the game vs Dallas. Two exceptions being our playoff games.    Had we lost it definitely would have been right up there with the 2014 Playoffs vs 49ers, Dallas 05, Saints 2018 Playoffs, and SB50 as all time rigged games.
    • Say you don't understand PFF without saying you don't understand PFF... Every week seems like some of the same people are complaining about something they clearly don't understand.  I'm not saying they are the end all resource out there but once you understand their methodology you can start to appreciate some of their work. For example, their grading system isn't a high school grading system, try to look at some of it in relative terms.  Rico had an 82 rushing grade, that's pretty good.  I would be curious to know how that compares to every other running back this past weekend. Also, I think he had a few penalties, which if I'm not mistaken are graded pretty harshly.
    • Can we go back to square one for a minute and remember what we paid for this guy and how he was sold?  He was like, the anti excuse. Makes everybody better, Did we get that?  I think the answer is still coming but so far you might can say that for a game or two.  Cam had issues with personnel every season almost. Horrible OL, but he had receivers. Decent to good OL no receivers. Etc. Bryce needs to stand up, or keep standing up, however you want to put it. It is big boy time in year 3. He doesn’t have to make the playoffs but there is a standard. We’ll see what happens.  But the excuses are just fuging tired.  ps, I mean let’s not crown him when he has franchise record production in two wins,.. let’s see when they stop that, how he does then.
