Chicken Wing Question

sunbunny is right. I made some almost exactly like she said two weekends ago for the games and will be doing the same this weekend.

Make sure you use Frank's if you are trying to do them Buffalo style. To use anything else would be a sin. :)

Taste the sause before you coat them and add something like Dave's Ultimate Insanity, small increments, to add heat up to your preference. Then throw it on the cooked wings and enjoy. Good luck with the party!

Don't forget the celery and the blue cheese and ranch dressing.

Can we derail this into some other recipes now? So far, we're only having wings and the velveeta dip. My son won't be able to eat chips, so I need something else. Guess I could make sausage balls.

If you are gonna do some dip, do the buffalo chicken dip. That stuff is the best dip ever. Shredded chicken, cream cheese, Frank's red hot, ranch dressing, and melted cheese on top....oh damn chicken wings in dip form!

this. this dip has been made at all of the parties I have had/gone to in the past year. Its SO fuging delicious!!! Just be careful, its addictive. Don't stand around it or you'll end up grubbin on it the entire time!

Yeah that happened to me on Christmas. I wasn't even hungry when the turkey stuff was ready.

At the Christmas sweater party I had with my girlfriends this year, we had a whole table full of food/cookies/dips, all kinds of stuff. Somehow I kept ending up on the side of the table with the buffalo dip....

then after the bar, we come home, and Im just sitting right infront of it. No wonder I felt so fat after Christmas lol

I love these things...

but use egg roll wrappers instead of flour tortillas. It's also good to use as a filler to phyllo cups.

I also love these things...

I have made that velveeta/rotel dip with out hamburger, with hamburger, with hot sausage or mild sausage, I like it with the sausage best. I drain the rotel first, it seems to keep it from separating, do you do that sunbunny?

BBq meat balls or italian meatballs are always a big hit. Also you can do shrimp cocktail, I cheat & buy the shrimp already steamed & peeled. I like making spinach & artichoke dip. Sometimes I do chili for superbowl with all the toppings.

If you grill them...just make sure you get them done. Meat against the bone takes a while.

You Ain't kidding. I got so sick once from bad chicken that i stopped eating it. Even now the only time i eat chicken of any kind is if i make it. Both me and my kid got sick that day so i know it was the chicken, we shared a plate from a local chicken establishment. Gives me shudders everytime i pass that place.
