What to do for a guy on Valentines Day

Recommended Posts

He loves electronics. I just got him a kindle out of no where a few months back and he loves it. Everything else he wants is $500+ and I'm not wanting to spend that much cash.

Honestly we typically do a lot of dates. Not as much lately because we've been out of town the last 3 weekends. I think the reason I've never done much for him on Valentines Day is because he just doesn't care much.

You buy flowers for girls, what is the equivalent for a guy? A meatball sub...??

no, I would say its most likely a BJ

Edit: unless its Panthro

you all need to keep up...pretty sure it was clear there was no need for sexual ideas!

Hey, she asked what the male equivalent to flowers would be....I just answered with my honest opinion.

We like the nice surprise of getting flowers. Now trade out flowers with BJ and tell me that's not something a guy would say.

the equivalent to flowers is beer!

the equivalent to hiring a cleaner, or ewwww...spending time talking about feelings etc, is a BJ!

Honestly we go out a good bit on our own too. We have a plethora of babysitters and we use them.

thanks for the ideas guys. I might just come home with a meatball sub, some drinks and tell him we can watch whatever he wants. (which means we will likely be watching porn or Fringe)

    • Jesus my man. Save some of the ball busting for hockey hahaha
    • Don't think your comparisons are germaine. Teddy and Bryce are nothing alike. And no I am not always right  or  wrong but the difference is I let the experts inform me and follow those who do know. And after all the constant wrong takes you go on and on about just like this one, I don't feel like we are kindred souls or like minded. I will be glad to compare my takes versus yours anytime.  And have no clue what you are talking about regarding stern lectures. But I can see around here if you take a constant negative approach to everything you get a lot of support and given our track record you may be right about some things. I don't live my life that way nor do I constant like to complain like you.
    • Never, and it doesn't have to be an old grizzled vet, sometimes a vet can learn something from a young player too.   Do you not see players talking to each other between plays, quarters, on the bench, wherever, in EVERY sport? It's what players do, especially the great ones, they're always working on their craft and learning tips from others to better themselves.   So when your entire receiving room outside of one player, who has mostly played special teams in his career, has played 1 season or less in the NFL, it's not a lot of experience there in the locker room and on the sideline and is a tad concerning in regards to the proper growth of all these young WRs with great potential.
