Or Drafting Fairley and picking up a free agent CB? Too name a few; Asomugha and Jonathan Joseph.

I think this is a win-win situation but if I had to chose Fairley or Peterson in this situation I would go with Peterson. Fairley has character issues and the FA that play his position are pretty darn good.

I am somewhat biased to Jonathan Joseph because that is my baby son's first and middle name, lol.

Our recievers are not total garbage, one WR is not going to change this offense around but it could help.

i see what you're saying, and i wouldnt mind either fairley or peterson, but i just see too many red flags in fairley, he is talented though thats for sure. it would be a longshot for him to become half the player suh is imo.

and i just dont buy the peterson hype, but i would prefer him over fairley any day of the week, so to answer your question i would prefer drafting him and picking up rodgers

You know, with this coaching staff taking your theory (drafting best offensive player) and my theory (beefing up the defense) would probably both work out great no matter what route was taken. Sorry if I sounded a-holish when I didnt see your point.
