wow, this is pretty crazy. This kid says he did it b/c of MucinexDM.....really?

A Kings Mountain teen accused of using a shotgun, handgun and hatchet to kill his roommate told a 911 dispatcher he had overdosed on cough medicine then gave grisly details of a killing.

Michael Joseph Anderson, 19, is charged with murder after deputies on Monday found the body of Stephen Starr, 36, inside Starr's home south of Hickory.

Authorities say Anderson called 911 early Monday saying he had killed and mutilated Starr, whom he claimed to have recently met at a club and moved in with. A word was carved into Starr's body, but authorities wouldn't say what it was.

On the 911 recording, a distraught-sounding man says: "I waited until he went to sleep and then I shot him three times, and then I mutilated him very badly, and I'm sorry."

The man also reports feeling conflicted after visiting a gay club, where he claims he met Starr.

The caller says he had ingested Mucinex DM, an over-the-counter cough suppressant that contains dextromethorphan. The FDA has issued warnings saying abuse of the drug is on the rise and can cause hallucinations and psychotic episodes.

On a Facebook page listed for Michael Joseph Anderson, postings minutes before the 911 call speaks of a killing.

"I WOULD RATHER WANT TO KILL ALOT MORE YOU KNOW BUT OH WELL ONE WILL DO I GUESS..."

Another post, says "i finally cracked guys i really did it this time guys."

What I think happened was....

The suspect had his first gay sexual experience, and maybe felt violated and a little "butthurt" about it, and killed the guy IMO

thats kind of what I was thinking too...and the word on the dead guy...

starts with F, ends with AG

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
