Headed down late next week.....may skip the Phillies spring training this year though...something tells me it might be a bit too crowded this year. Haven't decided yet.

well you know...if you text me BEFORE you go this year..i probably will meet up with you

:D....I think we may skip the whole Tampa area thing this year. Wife wants to take the daughter to Disney so I will probably just hit Braves spring training again so I can pee on Chipper Jones. Tampa will probably not be in the cards for Florida tour 2009. I dunno know for sure though...we will be bouncing around the state.

      I wouldn't trade Svech for the best FA on the market, Marner included. Matter of fact, someone would be giving up a top line scorer and a couple draft picks for Svech.  Look at it this way, if Svech was a UFA in a couple days, what does his contract look like? That'll tell you everything you need to know.

      I know it a real homer take but Im not sure Id slam dunk take that list over Smitty.  Smith just played a different way, he had an ability to just take over a game as a matter of will.  The catch against the giants where he caught it and took a helmet that broke his arm mid air, the games against DeAngelo Hall, 05 Bears playoffs, Ice Up Son, the revenge game against us. Those other WRs may have better stat books but love him or hate him, good guy or bad, Smith just played a different game and when he did look out.

      Absolutely would have to be anther young scorer with either ELC time or a long term contract...    Could see maybe Kyrou or Robertson.... But I really just dont see him being traded you dont trade your leading post season scorer on a long term deal when he isn't even in his prime yet..   not to mention unless you get more than one of those guys at best it would be lateral with unknown team chemistry.
