I was thinking I heard some red flags on Fannin--not sure I am right--but if so, Morgan will not draft him--too many others with red flags (except Nolen) have been passed over, it seems.  Maybe it was not character, but arm length (31.75) and 40 time (4.71 which is average, I would think).  He is a baller, regardless. 

I like Bech as well, but Noel has the higher upside and is more of what we need.

Fannin has some limitations in that he is not a complete TE but more of a flex receiver. He also would have some limitations in terms of diversity of usage in the passing game. But the one thing he does have is overwhelmingly the best hands in this loaded TE class.

Big fan of this move. He's a raw RT with a ton of upside but only 1 real year of starting. Sit him behind Moton for 2025 and we may just have our RT locked down for the next few years. Worse case scenario, we have a solid, cheap back up.

He is a TE, at least, on paper.  But if you play him wide, that may be the fairest comparison because I have not seen him beside the T

Somewhere I read a stat that said there has been only 1 TE with arms as short or shorter than his who made a pro bowl or something like that.  I did not know that was an issue for TEs as it is for OTs.  Snow wants to call him a wide receiver and if so, the 4.71 4o is also a concern--maybe limits his pass tree routes--He does have good hands.  I still like Mason Taylor for us though-if we draft TE--I don't think we will unless the choice is obvious.

I wanted to comment on this pick as well.  The R OT from BC is my RT crush right now, but this guy can play. The RT from LSU is a keeper too--would have been the LT there, but Campbell and all that.

I think Fannin Jr. is a potential exceptional weapon for a gifted offensive HC. I don't really think that is us at all, so he generally wouldn't fit here, IMO.

I do think that will dictate his career arc, finding a team that can use him correctly. He might be stiff and have a limited route tree but he is huge, has unbelievable hands and is a monster in terms of yards after contact.

I think we are going with Sanders, and I think he is going to be decent to good.

Yeah, apparently I have more confidence in BC as a starter and heir apparent to Moton than 32 NFL GM's. I don't think he even got a nibble on the open market. Still glad to have him as depth though.

Yeah, I could not understand why people here thought he was viewed as more than a backup caliber player. He has never played at anything more than that level.
