Sober thoughts going into game 5

Happy with the win, but this team is in DESPERATE need of a skilled forward who can not just get a shot on net, but on a part of the net the goalie isn't easily covering.

I'm amazed at the lack of creativity, good passing when guys are entering scoring zones, and finishing loose pucks near the net that this team operates with.  It's maddening.  It's too bad Rantanen didn't want to be here, would've been a huge difference maker.

All that said, you can't win 4 in a row without winning 2 in a row.  So cheers to a potential Game 5 win, extending the series and goodbye to these sober thoughts.

A lot of it is the system, Rods system isnt big in puck handling.

I think they are settling in defensively and I can see them playing tonight with a lot more confidence because they know they CAN beat these guys.

If they can at least get a win in Raleigh it will feel a lot better going into the offseason. Another blowout loss was going to (hopefully) cost Brindamour his job. If they can claw back and make it a 6 or 7 game series that shows that Brindamour hasn’t lost his touch and can still rally the players. They looked absolutely lost in games 1-3 and I was ready for him to go

I’d say the 3-0 win Monday shows Rod still has the team.

Win in Raleigh tonight and I may start to hope for a series win, at the very least it would take some of the sting out. That said if they get blown out again I'll be pissed because they saved Rods job with a too little to late win.
