What can I say, after three years of watching him play I've turned into a vindictive person.

That or, as you've just pointed out, he can't do his job and doesn't deserve a roster spot.

Either or.

Not judging you, it has been extremely rough for the people that knew where this was going for years now and had to sit through it.

Trust me, if we had anyone on this roster who another team thought could help them get over the hump, they'd call and we'd listen.

But we don't, so they won't.

Stop fooling yourself that there is a single difference maker on this roster.

We have a couple of difference makers. But they can’t make up 30 points, or make our QB be good.

The problem is many, many other teams have this issue and the draft bust rate is as high as ever. Cam Ward looks worse than Bryce did his rookie year and he just went #1 overall. We saw how bad our other QB's were in the preseason. Put in Hooker, sure okay he might run a little more, but we are still getting blown out and our WR's still won't get the ball.

Cam Ward in fact does not look that bad with a horrible O-line. He's throwing it deep and to his teammates but he's definitely even at this point not looked bad like Bryce does weekly.

Who are they? Who on this team would you give up two first round picks for?

Is the rule that to be a difference maker you have to worth two first round picks?
In that case we have none other than Bryce Young of course, who we gave that up for, but he makes a difference the wrong direction.

Brown makes a big difference up front Horn is an upgrade to most defenses and a fine player.
And I think Tetaro is one, in the making. He could be a star if we get someone who can get him the ball.

Brown is elite at what he does, stuffing the run and taking on (sometimes multiple) blockers.  He offers no value rushing the passer or tracking the ball/player outside of his area.  He's not a game changer/difference maker.  Noone is game planning around Derrick Brown on Tuesdays.

Horn is very good, not elite.

T-Mac, too early to tell, looks promising.  I do agree his ceiling is being lowered by Bryce's floor.

I agree about brown

disagree about horn, he is uber elite

I like tmac and agree about the bryce statement.  Will he be a justin jefferson level wr, nah but will he be a top 15 wr within 5 years yeah I think so

^ going to a game and focusing on Horn you will see he just amazingly locks up whoever he is guarding, its really a thing of beauty

I don't disagree, but the way today's game is coached and ref'd DBs are at a huge disadvantage.  To me that puts the difference between being elite and being good enough to survive in the league as marginal.

Look at Sauce Gardner, he's completely crippled by the rules, which is why he leads the league in penalties.

Chris Gamble was a stud for us.  He would never see the field today as he'd be a 5 yard and automatic first down liability on every play.
