Anyone notice Jalen Coker yesterday?

I listened to the radio (Luke is an outstanding analyst) and didn’t hear much. Stat sheet didn’t show much. Maybe he executed his blocks

Politician answer is they have like 5 options with the TE and RB being used so they can’t all be the star each week. Let’s hope he looked good enough on film to get some looks this week.

I really couldn't understand why people were chirping about keeping Corbett benched. He was a very good OG. It's him at center that was never very good.

Also, Cade Mays once again is a replacement level player. As fans, some of ya'll really need to stop overestimating these long term backup players. That's rarely an accident. Doesn't mean they aren't valuable but the idea that these guys are long term starting solutions is ludicrous.

I wouldnt go as far as to say hes replacement level, but hes fine at center.  he's not some godsend, but he isnt absolute dogshit like Corbett was at center. Frankly when you are building a roster you have to have guys who are just aight at certain positions, you cant afford pro bowlers at every position and hes a fine accordable piece that Id love to keep around for average pay. That said, I got some flack earlier in the week saying I was fine with Corbett starting at guard if theres line injuries, and sure enough there was, and sure enough he played fine.  Hes not elite, no where NEAR Lewis or Hunt, but he's alright.  Put it this way, Corbett at guard is not a guy you game plan for, but hes not bad, he'll do the job alright and you need those guys....just keep him away from the center spot...dude is trash at snapping the ball.

You know, a lot is going to be made of it, but let's also be honest, the Jets defense is a helluva lot better than their offense. That's actually a modestly okay defense we faced. The rest of the Jets, phew.

Their defense is legit. If they had a decent qb we lose that game.

Hell we lose that game if Jaycee horn doesnt save us

One of those INTs was a easy TD with a better throw, same for the one Wallace was allowed to catch up with...... NFL games are mostly 3-5 plays away for either winning or losing...

Jets beat last years Panthers too....

Cade didn't have his best game yesterday, but having to worry about Quinnen Williams being right in front of you will do that to most centers.

Cade has been very good with his run blocking and ok with his pass blocking. I think he is much better than a replacement level player. Guy would start for more teams than not

He would not start for literally almost any NFL teams. This is the same type of thing people kept saying about Brady Christensen getting a big contract this past offseason.

For some reason the Huddle always equates a solid backup player to a Pro Bowl NFL starter. I will never understand why this happens.
