Yeah they picked wrong but their tank was unique. They had a fire sale, made a HC who is a very good DC tank, got caught and lost a pick (1st? Not sure im hazel and lazy). Thry also stacked talent for a time but started purging again, some to make room for Tua and some to chaos. 

Our tank is just doing poorly. It hurts but it still is going on
