Dowdle reminds me of of Le'veon Bell generally one cut but damn he makes the most of that cut.... he also has excellent vision patience timing his blocks.... and has excellent speed to break away.

Chuba generally is more of a slasher who vs better defenses and stacked boxes will just hammer ahead for 3 to 4.  Chuba doesnt have the same speed. Idk

Dowdle does not have break away speed. Chuba is faster than Dowdle, and he's a patient runner that I've heard analysts compare to Leveon Bell on that front. I've listened to a game or two where the color man has compared him to Leveon Bell. Chuba's catch and run today was indicative of the extra gear that he has that Dowdle does not.

Why the guy looked like he was running in quick sand?? Even the 350 LB OLmen were going to run him down....no lie he looks like he's playing hurt...

Could be. He's certainly not looking like the guy that we overpaid for.

    • I get it, but it's just like "dropping dimes" doesn't have a definition either but is saying the same thing. They're like what the Supreme Court said about Porn, "you know it when you see it" And I think you have to be watching with some crazy ridiculous Bryce goggles to think he was "slinging dots downfield" as the OP said.  I'm not taking anything away from Bryce for making the necessary throw in those situations and got two TDs on two 4th down plays.   But they weren't "sligning dots downfield" and they weren't "dropping dimes", they were pretty basic throws for any NFL QB, not even starting QB, just any QB.  They were 15-20 yard touch throws for the WR to run under it, with no safety over the top of them or need to let them get down in bounds.  They were in essence practice throws with no DB covering them, just in a high pressure game situation. 100% perfect throws for what was needed, which in itself is a credit to Bryce as he's struggled with that on easy throws in the past.  And hell, this literally might have been his best game of his career all things considered. But "slinging dots downfield" is just an absurd statement to say after today, sorry.
    • Idk, but I was just scrolling shorts and this video popped up calling the Tmac pass an “absolute dot” so, unless this is you, it seems like it might meet more people’s definition of “dot” than he thinks. Anybody crashing out over calling these passes “dots” really can’t be taken seriously on any Bryce Young related topic because he clearly affects their ability to think straight.
