Current AI is fuging atrocious for 99% of the uses the average person uses it for.

For researchers with limited data sets they feed it to analyze based on criteria fed to them by actual intelligent human beings, it can be extremely useful.

It's not useful in the ridiculously ineffective ways that most will use them.

It can be fun for some recreational purposes.

Not too worried about SkyNet taking over anytime soon, though.

(especially if SkyNet tries running on Windows) 😳

What you were told about Bryce is over the last 3 seasons he has been the worst….which is really a statement about QBs who also have played over the past 3 seasons.

did someone like Anthony Richardson play within that window and was worse?  Yeah.   Those guys you can name worse had their opportunity taken away or have yet to be given in the league long enough to even have to opportunity

The only one on my list who has been given far more chances is Fields.

I suspect Bryce will not be given that sort of leash in his post-Panthers career.

Richardson doesn't need anyone to take away his opportunities. He can do it himself 😕

I don't find it fun because I see companies using it to get rid of people. I don't find that very fun at all.

Go to San Francisco and see for yourself.

For the record, I didn't want us to draft Bryce, and after the first half of the season I was hoping his starting tenure was over. But I have to admit, that he's played his way out of "the biggest bust of all time' conversation. He is currently playing his way into the "you could do a lot worse at QB" conversation, which is arguably worse for the franchise long term as far as "QB purgatory" goes. I hope the back and forth between being "horrifically bad" and "pretty damn good" stops next season (or the remainder of this season)

Me personally, after getting my hopes up at the end of last season only to have him regress again, makes me think that bad Bryce is closer to the norm.

Stroud was my choice.

I was hopeful after season's end...

Then disappointed after the season opened...

Now I'm getting hopeful as we near season's end again...

I need some Dramamine 🤢

I wasn't down on Fields or Lance(actually liked Lance a lot) but they ended up not panning out. Fields continued chances are utterly perplexing.

Lady Cowboy Fan thought we should have drafted Levis.

Fields really didn’t.  He got the same.  3 years.  Bears said no more.  Now he is a one year bounce around guy.

Fields and Bryce are the same tier QB.

I'd rather not go to San Francisco...at all 😬

And on that front, yeah it's sh-t. Same thing happened with automotion. That's somewhat levelled out so hopefully this will too.

I'd say the best path is for people at some point to come to understand the limitations of it, i.e. realize that Commander Data is a fictional character.

Mind you, depending on the reasoning and understanding of corporate types has always been a strategy fraught with risk 😕

Yeah...can't agree. Fields just isn't an NFL quarterback.

At 1 or stay put and draft him with our original pick?

Both, I think. We looked at him both before and after the trade up.

And hey, how many guys can say they get to do draft evals with their wives? 😄

No, he has gotten chance after chance after chance. Did you forget his two year, $40 mil starting QB contract this past offseason.

He has gotten three different starting QB opportunities.

I am assuming those will eventually end, although the continuance of those is wild.

I know I'm probably in the minority but I don't think Levis got a fair shot with the Titans and honestly he looked better than Ward as a rookie (and I'm a Ward fan).  I know he was kind of an older rookie but he was very hot and cold which to me makes me think he has some ability.  He needs to develop mentally in the game but a good coach might be able to do that.  I'd like to see him so learn behind Stafford in LA.  If McVay can't develop him than no one can.
