Why does Bryce get the blame?

Except the conversation I’m referring to was a person crying that Bryce couldn’t avoid 1 sack due to the fact he was sacked 1 time. Icky (playing injured) allowed 5 pressures by himself. So instead of actually watching him avoid sacks they just glanced at the box score and made a bad call like it was a fact. Good talk as always.

Regardless of Icky whiffing horribly on that play from the moment the ball was snapped Bryce was a deer in the headlights and never even turned his head in either direction. Not what you want to see from your left tackle but also not what you want to see that late in the game from your third year QB who you have gone out of your way to point out had recognized and felt pressure at other points in the game.

You can rabble on the rest of the night about people not watching the game. Doesn't change the facts. Doesn't unring that bell that was opportunity knocking for the division and a playoff spot.

Lmao damn Bryce for keeping his eyes downfield while he gets to the top of his drop

I can see why you constantly deflect when it comes to talking about the actual game itself

Yeah because we all know Bryce Young has spent the majority of his 43 career games immediately looking "downfield".

Is the Bryce defense now becoming…..the most fanatical segment of the entire Panther fanbase doesn’t watch Bryce Young play football and just looks at the box score?

the primary BY issue is his lack of physical tools, how it impacts every single game and how that prohibits the Panthers from even average production in the pass game.

and if you compared him vs his tier of QBs statistically and didn’t allow a full time starter every game to be compared with players with skewed season statistics due to not starting every game…..it’s astonishing how almost the entire league can put multiple players on the field that outproduce BY (even bad teams).

We should be able to talk about BY in the same manner we have always talked about offensive weak links because he has proven to be that overall for 3 straight seasons.  Even his “good” days aren’t good.   And we have gone all the way done to….can you prove he is THE reason we lost a game lol

My goodness. We had one person not paying attention and claiming he was unable to avoid 1 single sack against the Saints. He actually did decent in avoiding pressure. They just glanced at the box score and saw 1 sack and made a bad assumption. No one is saying that’s always the case. Just called out that one person and they had a meltdown so it’s expanded to all this nonsense. They finally admitted it with some sarcasm about hanging a banner.
Bryce has a lot to work on. He also has gotten better at avoiding sacks. Does that mean he is great and can do no wrong? No it doesn’t. He does plenty wrong. Someone makes 1 comment about an aspect of his game that has gotten better and the Bryce Police come out in full force lol.

I watched most of the game I had to work part of the day.

It's interesting you think anyone who doesn't automatically agree with you didn't actually watch the games.

Yet you accuse others of talking out their ass.

I can name multiple pro Bryce arguers that have adopted the stance people here don’t actually watch the games.  So you will have to forgive me if I lumped this into that talk…

Bryce is so consistent in bailing from the pocket and creating scramble scenarios we don’t actually want that because he should be throwing on time…..I’m not sure he is even better at avoiding sacks now.  He of often takes lots of can’t take sacks based on situations.

I mean he is slippery.  I have said that for 3 straight years.   He can surprise with his wiggle and shiftiness.  I don’t see much change though.   He is in less bad positions vs early in his career.

I didn’t think his slipperiness would translate at all, but I’ve been pretty happy with it this year. Again not saying he has arrived or is our guy, just surprised he is able to do some of that at this level. He created extra sacks doing it his rookie year more times than not IMO.

To me, that’s his only actual legit positive.  He is shifty when scrambling.  But it’s not like it carries the threatening perk of say Justin Fields being a fast runner.

* I mean, I think he carries the perk of being a decent human and has some mental toughness.   But if those are your strengths and your weaknesses are what they are….talk is going to be more negative than positive about football play

It’s wasn’t about agreeing. It was a false statement saying he couldn’t avoid a single sack that game and the OL did their part aside from the 1 sack etc… It’s a fact that one of his OL gave up 5 pressures by himself which proves that wrong. That’s all there is to say about it.

Now you are admitting you didn’t watch all of it which makes sense.  I think you just got caught and had that whole little meltdown and now continue to drag this out. A simple, “my bad I didn’t watch all the game” would suffice next time. No need for deflections or nonsense babbling.

Page after page after page after page of boosting him up but you don't actually think he's the answer.

ForJimmy is a Mr. Scot clone.

Hard disagree.  And I bicker with Jimmy all the time.   Jimmy is a good well rounded poster that makes a lot of sense overall.

That’s fair and debatable. I think he seems to be a good locker room guy and slippery in the pocket. If nothing else his floor is a decent backup. Just simply calling out a bad take earlier sent Frank in one of his meltdowns. After all of the bantering it turns out he didn’t even watch the whole game. Imagine that…,

Aw you do care! Appreciate it. I enjoy our little bickering debates. I do try to stay rational but I find myself defending the little guy more times than I like. I’m an Auburn guy for crying out loud!
