When they say well water is safe, remember this thread and the effects of well water as a child

And yet, your boy barely had 50 yards passing today with the playoffs in grasp.  But, flame away on the thread, bro.  poo, seeing how our staff schemes, this thread might have just gotten me a job as quality control coach.

Against tougher defenses we see what happens when Bryce attempts to be aggressive.  That floater that ended up being a pick is what happens.  I know you know this, but I’m just saying for posterity…  they’re not being safe because the plays aren’t there to be made.  They’re playing it safe because the alternative is multiple turnovers.  And again, I just don’t understand how anyone worth their salt hitched their wagon to someone who hamstrings their entire offense like this.

100%. That's why in another thread I said despite my interest in Saturday's game and our potential playoff appearance, I am more anxious about what we are going to do this off-season. I want to celebrate our success, but at the same time, it feels kind of empty because we don't really "belong" in the situation we are in. Maybe that helps the FO have a greater sense of urgency seeing how winnable our division really is. I have little faith that we won't be rolling with BY for 17 games next year and that is a very depressing thought.

Wildcat would actually be a good idea if we're facing a team that is weak up front. Seattle's D-line was alarmingly stronger than our o-line, and that put it all down to Young's arm. Sometimes he's on, and sometimes he's off. Way off.

You know what your team's coaching staff thinks of its QB by what they ask of him against a stiff defense. We ask the almost the bare minimum. We treat Young like he's a backup QB and we're just trying to get by any way we can when it's actually a good defense.

My one piece of advice. Offer Young a low ball contract, or nothing. We can't give him a huge contract and hope to drag him along. If he's going to be an anchor we have to drag, then the less he weights us down, the better.

    • My tailoring green idea was not for him to be the starter but to add some value beyond just a developmental quarterback I think size speed is something Bryce doesn't have he has those and would immediately feel the fourth and one package and possibly red zone and some power packages for us
    • Do you have against Willis I believe you're around when we have the draft with corral and Willis were on the board and me personally I was banging the table for Willis as early as round one but a lot of people thought corral was better but it's amazing with a little coaching and time can do with me I always go with potential and upside versus oh the guy just plays football you know sometimes that's not enough
    • I know or needs and this probably isn't with a lot of people want but if he's available at 19 I don't think you can discount that he would be the best player on the board I think with 43 speed he's as fast as leggette. 63240 something he would stretch the field  Strike fear over the middle of opposing linebackers and also probably cure our long time history of no serviceable tight end since Greg Olsen I think a lot of needs like tackle maybe linebacker could be filled and free agency to the point like they did last year where we fix a lot of this and draft the best player we can on the board.  After his combine and the numbers in the 43-in vertical I'm not sure that he will be available but if he is I bet that he's highly considered what say you
