List of players that look like they could be traded. Who would you take?

Tuch or Panarin  ROR tro or MALKIN.

 

Tuch however is the only one who fits the canes usual desire for a long term contributer at 29 y.0 he's also a big physical power forward who can score and would add needed size to the top of the lineup (aka whichever line svech isnt on)

Honestly if the goal is getting past Florida I'd love Shenn and Tuch, a second line of Svechnikov-Schenn-Tuch would give us a ton of grit and physicality.

NY Rangers announced they will not offer Panarin an extension. 

He's 34, and in the last year of a contract that pays him $11.6M AAV.

NY GM Drury says he'll work with Panarin to trade him wherever he wants to go.

Somehow I bet the panthers figure out a way to salary cap it again and bring him on

He's 34 and doesn't fit the Canes for anything more than 2 seasons. His production is at his lowest level in 8 seasons and he's near the end of his career.

I'll take a 29-year old Tuch.

Ehhhh I doubt that even with all the INJURY cap they have accrued they only have about 1m in DEADLINE space (we have 40m)  honestly without all the injuries they would have needed to trade away 2-3 high dollar guys just to get under the cap...  it would be very short sighted of them to try and force moves this year.

I'll take a 29-year old Tuch. 

Ill take Tuch on playstyle fit alone over Panarin (yes hes historicaly a more dynamic scorer) but anther forchecking 6'4  220 power forward who also can score? Thats exactly the kind of player we need to balance out our smurfs for the playoffs.
