They were asking him if he had heard how they wanted to use him. He said no but…. And then said he’d play wherever. So there is no solid reason to think they intend to do that. And then we drafted a S later. But we will make a note of it.

I would wager that he stays as the nickel. He's too slow to play safety.

Slower guys with coverage skills can play safety. Aeneas Williams, Rod Woodson, Charles Woodson for example. When they got older, they moved to safety because they lost a step but could still cover.

If you put him at safety you will have another strong safety. He's too slow to be a free safety.
