Most excellent 1st episode, very nice living up to the hype.. Perhaps the walkers couldnt smell them under the cars with all the dead in the cars? Are they going to find the little girl? Who shot Carl? I havent been this excited over a TV show in a long time...

eh, all the complaining i hear about WD reminds me of the same complaints thru the first 4 episodes of Game of Thrones

everyone wants a lost style show where each episode is a self contained short story that really doesn't matter

character development hurts our short attention span viewers

knowing how quickly things progress in the comics, i'm surprised that we're not further along in the story, but its a pleasant surprise. i don't mind them taking the time to reinforce exactly what kind of new world this is
