Lol Minter was barely able to even keep up with the pace of training camp most teams would have cut him after 05. Rucker hung around a while too.

If this team has a flaw (some would call it that), it is its loyalty to the players. It works for and against you. Minter and JR are very close. I was at an OTA before he retired and JR gave him a ride in his golf cart back to the locker room after practice.

FOx was that way too. It never manifested itself as badly, however, than with Jake.

One day, we will look back on Rucker, Minter, Jake, Moose, Morgan, etc, and be very proud of these guys for bringing a reason to be loyal to the players. All worked hard and played hard. Nice people who cared about the community. Heck, they still live here (except Jake).
