Best Jersey to get Right Now??

My Smitty jersey only has another season or 2 left in it at most (assuming he stays in Carolina) and it is about time to get another. That being said, I wanted some input before I jumped the gun.

Who is the best pick for a jersey that I can have for the next 3-4 years right now? Beason?, Stewart?, Goodson?, our #1 pick in April? How safe would it be getting a Deangelo or CJ jersey. Right now, I'm leaning toward getting whomever we draft #1 overall with the exception of the DT's or Gabbert (Newton, Green, Peterson, Bowers)...

That being said, would a lockout affect the NFL making new jerseys? Would the NFL be able to make jersey's for the new rookie's without a new CBA in place? I would assume the NFL couldn't profit off of players names during the lockout, but that is just me speculating.

And before everyone tells me to wait a year for the Nike jerseys, I plan on getting one of those in two seasons, but I need a new jersey now...

Most of my jersey's lasted for only a couple of seasons

Blue- Keyshawn Johnson (Released for sucking)

White- Jake Delhomme (Released for sucking)

Black- Jake Delhomme (Released for sucking)

Black- Stephen Davis (Good back but retired)

Blue- Steve Smith (Good wide out but may be traded)

White- Dwayne Jarrett (Released for being a drunk and sucking)

Black- Chris Gamble (Good Cornerback, one of my prized jersey's)

Black- Muhsin Muhammad (Good wide out but retired)

White- Richard Marshall (Decent Cornerback but may be let go)

My B-Ball Jersey's

Gold- Gilbert Arenas (Wizards)- (Arrested and traded and suspended)

Blue- Gerald Wallace (Bobcats)- (Traded)

Orange- Emeka Okafor (Bobcats)- (Traded)

White- Eddy Curry (Knicks)- (No one even knows where he is but he is in trouble with the law)

I have bad luck.

get a Greg Hardy jersey... then you can make fun of everyone else who will be gettin them 1-2 years down the road

Yeah and get it now with the Reebok logo so everyone knows you are an old school Hardy fan (since they'll be switching to Nike jerseys next year)... LOL

    • Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.
    • That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.
    • In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
