Parcells formula, still a damn good one to go by.

I think these rules applied well around 3-5 years ago, now it's pretty common place to see younger guys entering the draft. It's a knock on effect as the would be talented seniors have already been drafted, leaving a void for more juniors.

I reckon, if Luck has a good season, you might actually see some of the younger guys staying in school as they know their draft stock will be lower. Add in the wage scale, there isn;t this burning need to get to the draft asap to cash in.

Well who is coaching Atlanta and who is coaching Miami. I wonder, what would Henne do on a better team esp one better coached?

Generally speaking, good QBs make bad coaches look good. Not the other way around.

Even on a poorly coached team a really good QB can make up for it because his talent will shine through.

I don't think you are completely wrong because coaching may play a part but I think in general it is overstated and a cop out.

And despite what some people think around here Dan Henning is an exceptional OC. He made Jake Delhomme a Pro Bowler. So Chad Henne had the coaching around him.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
