Singletary says vick is a possiblity in San fran

I would love to see him go to the 49ers. I hope he comes back and learns his leason and does a complete 180. I think Singletary would keep him in check, if not him then I think he could be lost.

The move would make sense though. San Fran wants to be a running team and every year Vick was in the league with the falcons they ranked top 3 in rushing year.

He isnt a smart dude. It doesnt matter who is coaching him or what system or city he is in. He doesnt have the mental capacity to play QB in the NFL.

On and off the field his decision making is piss poor

Dan Reeves was making him a SUPERSTAR. He understood his strengths. Greg Knapp went JohnFox on him and had the guy running the uber complicated WCO.

If Kerry fuging Collins can play QB drunk, Vick can play.

The dude is a scumbag for what he was doing, but he did it, was caught, punished, and served his time. Everyone gets another shot, I hope he makes the most of his and pushes the negative influences out of his life and makes his world and the people around him world better.

What I got from that is that Singletary wouldn't rule it out at that moment, when he was talking to the media, because he hadn't discussed it with the GM yet. To me it seems like wild speculation all because he wouldn't comment on a player until he was on the same page as the GM.

Don't you mean a complete 360? :D

Ok Mr. Perfect. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I was arrested for numerous charges in high school and no one thought i would amount to sh*t. I got a 2nd chance and turned my life around. Don't be such a douchebag.

But then you became a Falcon fan. See, that part destroys the whole argument.

Correct. Florio read it as a trial balloon to gauge whether 49er fans would be accepting of the idea.

Here's the answer: NINERS JUST SAY NO TO VICK

If Monday night’s equivocation regarding Falcons quarterback Mike Vick was intended to be a trial balloon, all we can say is . . . . pop goes the weasel ’cause the weasel goes pop.

“The 49ers are not interested in Michael Vick,” a team spokesman told Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat on Tuesday evening.

And so the Anti-Vick List adds a fifth team.

    • All I heard was uber rides, weight trainers, and t shirts??? Maybe some meals too........ What a monster and he should be tossed in a rusty wood chipper!!!1!11!!!!!
    • This is from 5 months ago. It was one or the other. Trade for one or draft one. We apparently called the Jets about Wilson. We also talked to the Seahawks about Metcalf. Drafting our own guy was the best course of action given the required investment. Regardless now is the time for Bryce Young to produce. We are fourth amongst all teams in cap spending on the OL. Back to back first round picks at WR and multiple young TE draft picks now. Very solid and respectable backfield. New pieces across the defense. The time is now.
    • That was just the worst time to have their worst game of the season. One key deal was the broncos guess the Panthers would NOT change any plays or flow to the game. Another key point overlook that bronco defense was truly one of the best in the NFL history. It was the best defense the Panthers faced that year, by far. They were not ready for it, but broncos were ready for the Panthers. Mix in that bad luck, poor refs showcase, and this is the golden boys last game........ Panthers needed to win by 20 and the broncos defense was not going to allow that.  Panthers were the favorites and I believe they also thought that it was going to easier than them destroying NFC playoff teams as they marched to the SB. I've heard darin Gantt say the play calls were to give remmers help, but for some reason the team never did it. During the year they never had that problem, so maybe never practiced giving help via TE/RB, or WR chip. Cam was superman that year, no need for any adjustments...... Until you meet a legendary defense with studs at all levels, Think about it, Peyton was throwing wingless dunks for the whole season, the defense had to carry his corpse to the SB. That's how good they were, not many defense are able to get to the playoffs and win a SB without decent QB play. If you recall the beginning of that defense took Tim Teblows and his non-throwing arse to the playoffs couple years before. That's insane the level of defense needed to overcome.
