NFL calls players a bunch of little girls

Is this what's holding up a deal?

If not...Goodell needs to just move on. Union should be behind blood tests anyway.

Seriously. What a bullpoo, likely to backfire PR move by the NFL. The NFL doesn't care and never has cared whether its players are juicing because they get a bigger, stronger faster player population to sell to fans. Please. Does anyone here believe NFL players aren't roided to the gills, have been for decades, and the NFL has no idea about it? And that fans and media alike are willing to look the other way because NFL football's NFL football? Do they want an MLB type of inquiry into this? Dumb, dumb Goodell move.

I think this is a tool used to get a deal done. The players will not want the blood test so now they will have to give in on some of the money to make sure the test is not in the final outcome. I also think if it does happen there will be a clause that only new players will have to submit to it under the new CBA not older players. This might be a great way of getting the numbers in the $$$ area closer to a real deal done.

Nobody's "against" it, per se. Just seems like a pretty disingenuous position to take given the timing (first I've heard Goodell talk about it) and considering players have been absurdly large and athletic for the past 35 years or so.

This is NOT the first time the idea has been brought up. Check out back in 26FEB2010

Maybe the Players are needing the extra money to find more expensive ways to cover up the use of HGH?
