Observer is reporting...

You guys are an f'n riot. Making fun of reporters who aren't "first" on news within the 1 second of it coming out. Who cares if the Observer only readers don't care about the lowly p.o.s. Rock Hill Herald, or goto nfl.com, or have Sirius, or read Yas on ESPN...NO...if their Observer reporter does his job for his loyal readers...but it's late...he's trash!!!

So lame.

yea lets overpay for mr false start passed on by steussie.

Do you understand how difficult it is to build a legit OL that makes a tandem of running backs the best in the league?? If we lost Gross and had to move Wharton to LT we would be the OL from 07 aka suck. Give the man his money. There are a few positions I don't mind overpaying for:

QB

LT

MLB

GIVE THE MAN HIS CONTRACT!

one slight correction, great teams are built with 3 cornerstones, QB, LT and RDE. MLB would be after that imho :D

Exactly. Gross is one of the premier OL's in the league. He is solid. Great OL's like him don't come around that often. Give him his money. Especially considering how insane of a running game the Panthers have right now they can't afford to lose solid lineman like Gross. That would take our running game a step back and that is the core of the Panthers offensive philosophy right now.

That it's a laugh on here that the Observer can't scoop a major news story about the Panthers should tell you all you need to know... :D

    • Weirdly think there's a better chance we pull off the upset with Dalton. Canales might call some plays that he didn't trust Bryce with, and if we can get a halfway decent Dalton game (and run the hell out of the ball), I think we can stay in it.  The Bills offense seems like hot garbage this year and then gets hot in spurts. Josh's scrambling is the biggest issue, if we can contain Cook.
    • I would go with we are in famine now, with those guys it was feast or maybe TV dinners with the occasional famine. 7-9 was the running joke when predicting the record for well over a decade.
    • I am just a hard head that is entrenched in the idea that if you played the game for real than you know what it takes. Better than someone who has not. And will not be so easily fooled by something like an S2, media opinions, and surely not bloated water weight at a weigh in   And are likely to to value the physical toolkit because you have seen how big and fast and violent the game is up close. You had to compete with those players.  Morgan said early on, it is a big man’s game. I don’t think he excludes QB from that paradigm but just cannot say so publicly until this all plays out. and maybe privately too right now.
