I think they have really toned down on the gratuitous boobage... especially for the main actresses... 

I thought we were going to catch Brienne's in the hot tub, but no dice. Also, IIRC they haven't really shown Dany's, Mel's, Margaery, or any other main actresses, save Y'gritte, in a long time.

 

I do believe Mel has a scene coming up in which hers might be freed again.

Did we even ever see Cersei's?

No, Cersei has never gotten naked.  Her raunchiest scene was probably S1: Ep1 when she and Jaime are making bastardly belly gnomes in the castle.

 

Probably not a popular opinion, but I like the toned down nudity on the main actresses - I think it kind of distracts from their character development.

 

Y's scene needed to be done since it was a big part in the book though.

Yeah I don't mind it being a bit toned-down.  Game of Thrones doesn't have meet any kind of quota on that for people to watch it, the show is good enough on its own.   The Ygritte scene was fine yeah, because it's very important to the story.

Plenty of boobs this season. Not a big deal that the main chicka's don't flash'em. 

 

 

However I do wish they also offered a PG or PG13 version so I could share GOT with the daughter.

A bit too raunchy for her I'm afraid, not that I don't like it that way.

There's always been hope in the community that another network would be allowed to re-air the episodes... somewhat edited for content...

One of the show's producers says in so many words that they'd get through 7 seasons.

 

Let's hope HBO feels the same, and lets hope only seven seasons will do the show justice.

IIRC AFFC and ADWD happens at mostly the same time in the Westeros timeline... just different POVs...

To me, this would indicate:

2014 S4 = rest of ASOS (although I don't recall there being terribly much to cover after RW... so I think they'll have to bring in some AFFC/ADWD stuff already...

 

2015 S5 = maybe half the events each of AFFC/ADWD if not all... A lot of people are down on AFFC and ADWD and think both could be covered in one season...

 

2016 S6 = the remainder of AFFC/ADWD if any, TWOW beginnings/half?

 

2017 S7 = remaining TWOW and ADOS?

I really don't think there is any way GRRM catches up to that. I have my fingers crossed, but that'll really be pushing it. 2 books released in 4 years... lol...

One would suspect he has the outline done for the entire series it's just a matter of fleshing it out.

 

TWOW should be the set up for a big showdown on multiple levels, I suspect several nobodies die or fade into the background.

 

ADOS would be several showdowns and the ending...

 

Jon, Danny, ? are the 3 heads of the Dragon.

Danny becomes queen of Westeros and marries--?

Ary murders all the people on her list, minus maybe Jamie Lanister.

Jon becomes AA, along with Danny and the now united Westeros (from sea to sea (mostly) takes the fight to the "Darkness/Zombies/etc). Bringing about a new summer that melts the Wall down and Jon takes over the "North"

Sansa becomes queen of ...the castle in the Mountains or w/e and kills LittleFinger.

Tyrion does something awesome...

or something like that.

Yet it feels too happy...

 

GRRM could shock everyone and spit out TWOW late next year.

 

3 years later (show is delayed 6 months) Releases ADOS a month or two before the final season of the show.

 

 

Maybe?

I think it will or at least should be 8 seasons. Some people are worried about stuffing AFFC and ADWD into one season but I hope that is exactly what they do. I don't want to give anything away but there are some roles in the book that are named POV characters that will get reduced a lot I think to avoid more confusion and dilution of characters

If griff and friend are just fakies they could be cut entirely.
