Cam Newton HEARS YOU HATERS!!!!

Awesomeness!!

LOL Not really to be honest just funny to hear them rip him apart about the character stuff/saying he's a raw project. Then turn right around an state how if Rivera/Hurney/JR think he can be a franchise QB by taking him I'll support him just wanna see if that holds true.

Well if they care enough about the Panthers to address concerns, they obviously are Panther fans and will support him, with the exception of about 3 or 4 guys... that I've noticed.

I find it even more entertaining to see ALL the Cam supporters keep saying it's them vs the world, when in fact, the number of Cam supporters is much higher than those who don't.

And for the record, I like him and would be excited for him to be our pick. I just right now, don't think he is the best player in the draft. But if he turns out to be half of what you guys believe he will be, then we should be pretty set at the QB position for the next 25 years or so. And of course, if he doesnt turn out to be good, it won't be a big deal and we can all be satisfied that we took a risk.

"A Gun, right? My ammunition is the criticizing I get to describe who I am. When people say 'Cams a one hit wonder', 'his style isn't going to transition to the NFL', I hear that, I hear you talking, and I put that into my mental chamber".

H-Having

A-Anger-

T-Towards

E-Everyone

R-Reaching

S-Success

Just wanna throw some logic out there. Every draft pick has some success since they at least made it to the NFL. So according to you haters wouldn't want any draft pick because they all have some success. Considering most here want a certain player (which logic says they don't have anger towards said player or they wouldn't want them) how are they haters?

I have no idea whether he's dumb or not.

I do know that he's inexperienced when it comes to running a pro style offense, so I don't know whether he can pick one up, and that's a concern.

The way he answered Gruden's questions in the video didn't really do anything to alleviate that concern (arguably just the opposite).

Pro style experience certainly doesn't guarantee success (look at Clausen) but it makes the mental transition easier. Don't know how anyone can argue that.

and thats my point. we (fans) dont know that yet, and how is it far to assume one way or the other.

He wouldnt.

I could see how using this as motivation maybe to get adrenaline pumping to put forth extra physical exertion, but 1.playing QB is mental. He sounds very emotional, the too dont necessarily mix that well. Why does he need this so-called hate as motivation anyway? 2.He has way more believers than haters.

1.Tell that to Jake Delhomme emotions are the only thing that made him play well

2. was that sarcasm:confused:

1. Emotion worked 50/50 for Jake, it would either fire up his teammates or blow up in his face.

2. Nope, but I wouldn't expect some of you guys to be very good at counting either.

I think you and I are misunderstanding each other. On the huddle there's probably are 65 to 35 ratio with pro cam the majority, but in the rest of the world besides auburn and blinn university he's criticized by millions of Joats and Scots

^Exactly

Lets be honest he has more critics/doubters in the media than people believing in him. It's very rare to hear someone not call him a project with huge red flags on and off the field. Compared to the rare time you will hear someone say he's a underrated passer the Russell, The Golden Calf of Bristol and VY comparisons hold no weight he's more like Big Ben (Mayock).

Look outside of Panthers Huddle peppers90 I wouldn't say they're haters but they sure as hell don't believe he'll translate to the NFL compared to a Gabbert who's hyped up much more.

The rest of the world besides the US doesn't care or even know who he is. Most people doing mock drafts have him going #1 or saying he is the top Qb in draft. The problem I have is confusing questioning concerns with doubting or hating. Every pick has concerns or questions, but you dont hear any of the others complaining or creating this idea that everyone is against them.... like some of the pro Cammies on this board have created. Just answer the questions appropriately and move on.

My 9 year old son came home from school asking me about Cam cheating on test without me ever mentioning his name. More people know about Cam than think buddy. Im not complaining about the valid concerns like his full transition to the NFL. I have concerns about every rookie at every position. Im just annoyed at people here, the media and everywhere else. When you have people questioning a QB for using the word gun and ammunition when he's about being motivated. If he said he has a gun for an arm people will lose their minds. Why? Just let him adjust to the NFL like every other QB. Cam is dealing with allegations from incidents he was involved with at the age of 18 and minor very minor incidents. There's grown ass fully matured QB's in the league now that have done worse and we stop hearing about them as soon as their suspension over.

Most mock drafts only have him at #1 because they THINK thats who we're going to pick. Two months ago before he started getting visits and interviews with us he was projected late 1st or early to mid second round. And now when the experts talk about him and the drafts they always say "all signs are pointing towards the Panthers taking Newton" but always have caveats and problems.

I'm still not sure about that, but let me ask you something. Do you not see any of those concerns or questions that are being asked? Or rephrased: Do you believe he has no flaws, and any concerns and questions are unwarranted? These guys jobs are not to say" hey this guy is good or this guy is bad, they are supposed to nit pick and tell us why. But you are confusing that with hate.

Find where I've stated he's the perfect QB coming out I've stated and will continue to say if he's drafted how he has to put in the work to reach his ceiling. I call hating the people reaching when talking about his character going as far to compare him to Aqib Talib smh. The fake smile comment from Nawrocki haven't not stepped foot in a room with Cam Newton before. Or the blind pro comparisons to Russell, Vince Young, The Golden Calf of Bristol or Young Mike Vick from people that more than likely didn't watch him play last year.

I am a "hugger" because I don't think he's as big of a raw project many claim he is. I see the bigger picture talent is talent no matter what system they came from The Golden Calf of Bristol/Clausen showed us that it could be a flaw in that theory. I see the talent, I see the potential and I feel like he wants to great (sports icon) meaning he'll have to put in the work to reach that level.

I won't look simply because I didn't accuse you of it, I simply asked a question and you got quite defensive really quick. Other than that, I like Cam for the same reasons you do, I just also have the concerns. Maybe I'm a flip-flopper, or maybe I don't get my hopes up too high or maybe I like to completely evaluate everything or in this case, all of the top talents who could be #1. Fortunately for us, we have professionals to do that and I support their decision 100%.
