Why would Hurnrey trade our next year first round pick for a 2nd round in this year draft. Why not trade our next year first rounder and a 3 round pick this year to trade up into the late first round and draft there instead of second round. Makes much more sense to me.

Actually I believe they can, the NFL has just cautioned teams to do so at your own risk because there may not even be a draft next year if the anti-trust lawsuit goes through....

I really would have to agree with you on that one. Considering that the best we might do this year will help us end up in the top 3 next year. It would be mighty stupid to give up a pick like that.:cheers2:
