This is my biggest gripe about threads like this, video game commercials, or YouTube videos previewing games. They never show gameplay shots. Just these pretty shots of crap you'll look at once and never watch again, or shots from a highlight reel you'll rarely use. Worse is the commercials that only give you the intro/movie scenes. That's not the damn game!

I never play online, I just like playing in franchise mode. My two big gripes or coach hiring (seen above) and free agency.

When you make an offer to a player, it will show you have the highest offer, but when you get outbid you are supposed to be able to make a higher offer, but it will rarely show up. Not sure if its a glitch or what, but the whole FA process blows.

They need to beef up the scouting/draft portion as well.

a quick question though, am i the only one who doesn't play online? i could never get into online play due to the crappy lag time between everything I do and the lack of a usable defense last year. Do a lot of people play their online stuff?

I hate that franchise has been horrible recently. That's really the only thing I play since they switched to that new crappy superstar mode. I hope they do make some changes to Franchise because that's my favorite mode. I play online occasionally but I never play as the Panthers in online mode.

Online is the best. I usually don't get crappy lag time. Panther teams have sucked or been ok for last 7 years. Never over powered (except Julius Peppers in 08). I like playing face to face but online is a great way to play different play styles and techniques. Also a great way to get glitched and cheated but you have to take the good with the bad I guess.

Franchise mode needs more attention. They need to bring back the rookie drills, keep up with team history and add more details to make it more of a story but not repetitive.
