Huddle Jamz 2.5

How many teams of 3 can there be? I have a team of 3 that will be willing to play. My arm may not be healed enough to shoot but it won't matter. I'm like John Stockton without the ability to shoot. Nor do I have the dribbling technique to be a point guard. Come to think of it I am nothing like John Stockton. Regardless, I am in.

I think we should take this thing to another level and bring in multiple teams.. make a day out of it (and make that day Saturday this time)

I don't care what we call it, Huddle Jams 2.5 or no name at all.. we should have enough people this time around for a few games.

Dammit, I would join a team, but I doubt I can make it back in May... I'll be up there this weekend for Quail Hollow...

where there's a will, there's a way. I hear there will be a bikini show at halftime. ;)

it was a blast, as usual. always a great way to kick off the summer. when I said 10,000 people would be there, I underestimated that number from last year which was 15,000.. and I think there were even more this year.

I didn't realize your ALS walk was this weekend when I mentioned it to you a few weeks back. I hear you did well with donations!

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
