Thanks for all the tip fellas. Flight was an hour late, it took the van 45 minutes to pick me up, then another hour to get to my hotel in White Plains. The van ride was an adventure. Narrow lanes on the freeway, driving 25 miles over the speed limit, inches between bumpers - fun stuff. Not sure why they bother with speed limits up here.

Tomorrow night, the sh*t gets real when I try to get myself down to Jersey. Staying near Hoboken, right on the river front. A cab driver out front quoted me $100 for that trip.

I've already hit the liquor tonight to calm my nerves...may have had too much. Meeting early tomorrow.

it isn't worth the hassle....especially if NYC and surrounding area is new to you. Makes much more sense to use public transportation and cabs.
